Monaco, June 30, 2025 – The world-renowned Monaco Boys Choir, Les Petits Chanteurs de Monaco, under the esteemed direction of Pierre Debat, is delighted to announce their upcoming concert tour across Vietnam and Cambodia from July 5 to July 25, 2025. This remarkable journey, under the distinguished patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, will showcase the choir’s exceptional talent while fostering cultural exchange through partnerships with esteemed local organizations in Southeast Asia.
The tour will visit vibrant cities and iconic cultural landmarks, including Hanoi, Da Nang, Hoi An, Hue, Nha Trang, and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, followed by Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, and Sihanoukville in Cambodia. Audiences can anticipate a captivating repertoire featuring sacred music, classical pieces, and a special tribute to Prince Rainier III, founder of the choir in 1974, with the performance of his favorite piece, *Le Campanile de Saint-Nicolas*, in honor of his centenary.
In Cambodia, the tour is organized in association with *All Dreams Cambodia*, a partnership dedicated to encouraging local passion for choral singing. This initiative aligns with the ambitious *Sing to Lead: Cambodian Choir Conductors on the Road to the Royal Choral Award 2027* campaign, aimed at revitalizing choral practice in Cambodia through training, concerts, and intercultural exchanges. A highlight of the tour will be a collaborative performance in Phnom Penh with the prestigious *Bophadevi School of Royal Ballet*, blending the choir’s ethereal voices with Cambodia’s revered traditional dance.
The tour is further enriched by partnerships with esteemed educational and cultural institutions, including the *Mengly J. Quach Education Group* and *Don Bosco Cambodia*, which will facilitate community engagement and cultural activities. Additionally, the *Cambodian-Italian Chamber of Commerce* joins as an institutional partner, supporting this project to strengthen cultural and artistic ties between Monaco and Cambodia.
“This tour is a celebration of music and cultural unity,” said Pierre Debat, Director of the Choir. “Through our performances and partnerships with remarkable organizations like the Bophadevi School of Royal Ballet and All Dreams Cambodia, we aim to inspire and connect with communities in Vietnam and Cambodia, fostering a shared love for music and heritage.”
