After welcoming more than 7,500 visitors in 2024, the French Embassy in Cambodia will once again open its doors to the public on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., on the occasion of Heritage Day (Journée du patrimoine).
This special day will give visitors the opportunity to discover or rediscover the Embassy’s historic buildings as well as its vast park of nearly 5 hectares, a true green lung in the heart of Phnom Penh. The park is home to an ecosystem of remarkable biodiversity: around 200 trees representing more than 50 different species, along with over 250 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and insects, which were recently the subject of a detailed inventory. The initiatives undertaken to protect the park’s wildlife are part of France’s broader commitment to environmental protection and biodiversity.
The visit itinerary also includes a place of remembrance, featuring the display of a former Embassy gate that stood during the fall of Phnom Penh in April 1975.
Launched in France in 1984, Heritage Day is now celebrated in more than 50 countries worldwide. It offers the public the exceptional opportunity to access sites that are usually closed to visitors.
Admission is free and does not require prior registration, but a large turnout is expected, especially in the morning. For security reasons, large bags and dangerous objects will not be allowed. The Embassy reserves the right to shorten opening hours in the event of heavy rain or strong winds.
The Embassy’s park will once again be open to visitors in just a few weeks, on November 22, 2025, for le Marché Français (the French Market).

ព្រឹត្តិការណ៍ខាងលើនឹងអនុញ្ញាតឱ្យអ្នកទស្សនាស្វែងយល់ពីសំណង់អគារនានា ដែលពោរពេញដោយប្រវត្តិសាស្រ្ត ជាពិសេសចូលកម្សាន្តនៅក្នុងឧទ្យានស្ថានទូតទំហំជិត៥ហិកតា ដែលជាលំហបៃតងធំជាងគេមួយនៅភ្នំពេញ ហើយក៏ជាទីកន្លែងមនោរម្យមួយសម្រាប់ស្រូបខ្យល់អាកាសបរិសុទ្ធនៅកណ្តាលរាជធានី។ ឧទ្យាននេះមានប្រព័ន្ធអេកូឡូហ្ស៊ីជីវៈចម្រុះ ជាមួយដើមឈើប្រមាណ២០០ដើម សិ្ថតក្នុង៥០ប្រភេទខុសៗគ្នា និងពពួកសត្វចម្រុះជាង២៥០ប្រភេទ ក្នុងនោះមានថនិកសត្វ សត្វស្លាប ល្មូន ថលជលិកសត្វ និងសត្វល្អិតផ្សេងៗ ដែលត្រូវបានចុះក្នុងបញ្ជីសារពើភ័ណ្ឌលម្អិតកាលពីពេលថ្មីៗនេះ។ សកម្មភាពនានាដែលត្រូវបានធ្វើឡើងដើម្បីអភិរក្សព្រៃឈើ និងសត្វ ក្នុងឧទ្យានបានបញ្ជាក់ពីការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តរបស់ប្រទេសបារាំងក្នុងការការពារបរិស្ថាន និងជីវៈចម្រុះ។
ក្រៅពីនេះ សាធារណជននឹងអាចទស្សនាកន្លែងចងចាំប្រវត្តិសាស្រ្តមួយ នោះគឺអតីតទ្វាររបងរបស់ស្ថានទូតដែលជាសាក្សីនៃការដួលរលំទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញនៅខែមេសា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ ហើយដែលត្រូវបានរក្សាទុករហូតមកដល់សព្វថ្ងៃ។
ផ្តួចផ្តើមឡើងនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៨៥ដោយប្រទេសបារាំង បច្ចុប្បន្នទិវាបេតិកភណ្ឌត្រូវបានប្រារព្ធធ្វើឡើងនៅក្នុងប្រទេសជាង៥០។ ទិវានេះអនុញ្ញាតឱ្យសាធារណជនចូលទៅទស្សនាស្វែងយល់អំពីទីកន្លែងនានាដែលជាធម្មតាត្រូវបានបិទមិនឱ្យចូលទស្សនា។
ការទស្សនាស្ថានទូតបារាំងធ្វើឡើងដោយមិនគិតថ្លៃ និងពុំចាំបាច់ចុះឈ្មោះជាមុន ប៉ុន្តែចំនួនអ្នកទស្សនាអាចនឹងមានច្រើន ជាពិសេសនៅពេលព្រឹកដែលតម្រូវឱ្យមានការឈរតម្រង់ជួរ។ ដោយសារហេតុផលសន្តិសុខ កាបូបធំៗ និងសម្ភារៈដែលអាចបង្កគ្រោះថ្នាក់មិនអនុញ្ញាតឱ្យយកចូលស្ថានទូតទេ។ ស្ថានទូតបារាំងរក្សាសិទ្ធិក្នុងការបន្ថយ ម៉ោងទស្សនាក្នុងករណីមានភ្លៀងធ្លាក់ខ្លាំង ឬខ្យល់បោកបក់ខ្លាំង។
