Managing money is one of the biggest challenges for young professionals, yet open discussions about finances remain rare in Cambodia. Riel Talk, a special edition of Conversations @ the Canopy at Raintree, aims to change that by creating an open, supportive space to learn and talk about money without judgement.

The workshop will unpack essential personal finance topics relevant to everyday life — from growing your income and developing saving habits to investing small amounts and understanding local banking systems.
Led by Vanneth Kong, a seasoned financial advisor and entrepreneur, the session will combine practical tips with real-world examples. Panha “Max” Theng, Co-Founder of 606 Digital, will moderate, guiding interactive discussions designed to make money matters more approachable.
Set in a relaxed, living-room atmosphere, participants will enjoy coffee, snacks, and engaging Q&As exploring questions like whether to borrow for a wedding or invest with friends.
The event runs on Saturday, 25 October, from 2:00–5:00 PM at The Canopy @ Raintree, in Khmer and English. Tickets cost $5 for professionals and $2 for students, including refreshments. Registration is open via Google Form.
