Award-winning InterContinental Koh Samui Resort, located in Koh Samui, is proud to announce that it will be the host of the annual L’Officiel Fashion Destination 2019.
Set against a backdrop of the island’s most picturesque views, the prestigious fashion event will be attended by celebrities and socialites from across the region, including a few from Cambodia, and Araya Alberta Hargate or “Chompoo” as she is known, one of Thailand’s leading actresses and fashion icons, as well as prominent stars Kanyawee ”Thanaerng” Songmuang, Arisara “Dew” Thongborisut, Chalida “Mint” Vijitvongthong and Jiraya “Got” Tantrakul.
Taking place over the weekend from 26 to 28 April, the event commences with a French-Riviera themed Charity Gala Night at the resort’s beachfront restaurant, Flames, to raise funds for Thai foundations Baan Nontapum and The Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Foundation; it ends with a fashion show led by Thai designer Patinya on Southeast Asia’s longest over water runway.
Guests can look forward to a luxurious weekend at the InterContinental Koh Samui Resort, beginning with a welcome gift from the hotel of monogrammed bathrobes and slippers, followed by champagne sponsored by Moët & Chandon, beauty treatments by NARS Cosmetics and Clé de Peau Beauté, chauffeur service by a fleet of Mercedes-Benz cars, and a jaunt to a private island on the resort’s private speedboat.

In support of Baan Nontapum Home for Children with Disabilities and The Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Foundation, guests will be invited to bid on 6 masterpieces by renowned local artists at a private charity auction held at the resort’s beachfront restaurant, Flames. All proceeds from the charity auction will go towards the foundations, which respectively provide rehabilitation for children with disabilities and timely heart surgeries that help and save the lives of children with congenital heart diseases.
