NeakOknha Kith Meng Uses WingMall To Show Gratitude to TYDA With Free KFC Meals

Neak Oknha Kith Meng provided TYDA workers with hot meals from KFC delivered using WingMall for their selfless and courageous efforts to combat the pandemic.

As the dark cloud of pandemic persists and shrouds the Kingdom with uncertainty, doctors, nurses and volunteers from the Samdech Techo Voluntary Youth Doctor Association (TYDA) have worked days and night to protect the public.

Under the leadership of H.E. HUN MANET, Chairman of the Board of Directors and H.E. PICH CHANMONY, Vice Chairwoman of the boards of Directors, they have spent days away from their families and dedicated more than one year to keep citizens safe.

In a small gesture to express his gratitude, Neak Oknha Kith Meng arranged for WingMall to deliver hearty KFC meals for free to the courageous TYDA workers.

“TYDA’s contribution during this difficult period for the country cannot be understated. They have not only been on the front line in detecting and treating patients, but the association has also been critical in preventing the spread of the virus,” said Neak Oknha Kith Meng, Chairman and CEO of Royal Group of Companies (RGC). “We hold your selfless contributions to the community in high regard.”

WingMall’s delivery team picked up the food from various KFC outlets in Phnom Penh and delivered them to TYDA in time for their afternoon snack on Sunday.

A short handover ceremony was held at TYDA’s office in Phnom Penh’s Tuol Kork district before Wingmall personnel immediately distributed to volunteers, doctors and nurses across the city.

Neak Oknha Kith Meng has supported the Royal Government by dedicating considerable resources and time in combating the pandemic.

In his recent letter, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his sincere gratitude to Neak Oknha Kith Meng and Lok Chum Teav Mao Chamnan for an additional $3 million contribution to the Royal Government of Cambodia for the purchase of Covid-19 rapid test kits.

“In light of the difficulty facing the nation, it is our duty as citizens of Cambodia to support our nation,” said Neak Oknha Kith Meng. “I must continue to urge everyone to follow the advice of Samdech Techo about the ‘3 Do’s and 3 Don’ts’, as well as the directive from the Ministry of Health to help contain the pandemic. It’s a small thing the public can do while TYDA works tirelessly to protect us and our families.”

From the beginning, Neak Oknha Kith Meng and his group of companies have been actively and generously supporting communities in need during the pandemic.

Wing added WingMall to the Wing Money App last year. WingMall is a food and grocery delivery service from Royal Group of Companies. Wing Bank (Cambodia) PLc, the Commercial Bank from the Royal Group of Companies has also consistently supported the country through various philanthropic activities.

Wing Bank mobilized the public to raise funds for the Royal Government’s initiative of buying vital Covid-19 vaccines last year. The company has also been instrumental in helping distribute the Social Protection Fund to the financially vulnerable people under the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation.
